Who can join

Anyone with a genuine interest in history and responsible detecting. No experience required, we love welcoming newcomers to the hobby. There is no annual membership fee, you only pay on the day for the digs you attend. Children under 16 can dig for free, but with younger children adult supervision is required.

What membership includes

• The opportunity to join our twice weekly digs
• Guidance from experienced detectorists
• Help recording finds through the PAS and navigating the Treasure Act process

How our digs work

We run regular midweek and weekend digs across Hampshire, Wiltshire, Sussex and Surrey. Members meet on site for a briefing, detect throughout the day, and share finds at the end. It's relaxed, organised and built around shared respect for the land.

Beginners welcome

If you're new to detecting, you'll find experienced members who are happy to help with the technology, technique and finds identification. Everyone starts somewhere, and we genuinely enjoy bringing people into the hobby.
